SafePal is a hardware and mobile wallet for Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB and thousands of other tokens. As with most self-custody wallets, the key to your funds is the recovery phrase (12 or 24 words): the device PIN only unlocks the hardware itself. The most common problem is having an incomplete recovery phrase, a wrong word or the words in the wrong order. In many cases, there is a solution.
At Satoshi Spain we are a Spain-based company, headquartered in Barcelona, specialised in recovering access to crypto wallets.
How SafePal protects your wallet
SafePal generates a recovery phrase when you set up the wallet, and may also use an optional passphrase. That phrase is what rebuilds your keys on any compatible wallet; the PIN only protects the device locally. The cases we work on most are:
- You have an incomplete recovery phrase, a word you're unsure about, or the right words in the wrong order.
- You forgot the optional passphrase (the extra word) that unlocks a hidden wallet.
- You lost or reset the device but kept part of the written phrase.
SafePal cannot resend your phrase: nobody keeps a copy. Recovering access means reconstructing it from what you have and remember.
When it can be recovered (and when it can't)
We want to be honest, because this field is full of false promises:
- It can usually be recovered when you have most of the recovery phrase and are only missing one or two words, are unsure of their order, or remember the structure of the passphrase.
- It is much harder if you have only a few scattered words and no passphrase memory. In that case we'll tell you clearly at the assessment.
We never guarantee a 100% recovery. What we do guarantee is an honest assessment and that, if we don't recover access, you pay nothing.
How we do it
- Free assessment. You tell us about your case and what you still have and remember. We then tell you whether it's feasible and what would be needed.
- Contract and NDA. Before anything sensitive is shared, we sign a service agreement and a non-disclosure agreement under Spanish law. We only work with the legitimate owner of the wallet.
- Recovery. Starting from the words and order you have, we generate and test candidates using on-demand GPU computing power and our own pattern research. We keep you updated throughout.
- Handover. Once we recover access, we help you regain control of your funds securely. The final step can even be done in person in Barcelona.
We only charge a success fee of 35% of the recovered amount, and only if we succeed. There is no upfront payment.
What we need from you
For the initial assessment we only need you to tell us:
- That it's SafePal, and whether the problem is missing words, a wrong word, the order or the passphrase.
- How many words you have and which ones you're unsure about.
- Whether you still have the device or any written backup.
Important: never send us your recovery phrase or passphrase by email. If your case is viable, we first sign the contract and the NDA, and then explain how to share the data securely.
Every day counts. Let’s look at your wallet.

Frequently asked questions
Do you need my recovery phrase to assess the case?
No. For the initial assessment we only need you to tell us about the case — how many words you have and what's missing. We don't ask for the full phrase until we've signed the contract and the NDA.
How much does it cost?
The assessment is free and there is no upfront payment. We only charge a success fee of 35% of the recovered funds, and only if we recover access. If we don't, you pay nothing.
I'm missing a couple of words — is that recoverable?
Often yes. One or two missing or uncertain words, or a wrong order, is one of the most recoverable situations. We assess it for free and tell you the odds.
How long does it take?
It depends on how many words are missing and the complexity of the case. It can range from a few days to several weeks. We give you a realistic estimate at the assessment.
Is it safe? What happens to my funds?
We work only with the legitimate owner of the wallet, under a contract and NDA. We never ask you to transfer your funds to us, and the final step can be done in person in Barcelona for your peace of mind.
