Trezor is one of the best-known hardware wallets. It keeps your keys offline, but protects your funds with a recovery seed (12, 18 or 24 words) and, optionally, a passphrase (an extra word or phrase). If you're missing seed words or can't remember the passphrase, in many cases there is a solution.
At Satoshi Spain we are a Spain-based company, headquartered in Barcelona, specialised in recovering access to crypto wallets.
What we can recover on a Trezor (and what we can't)
Let's be clear from the start: we do not "hack" the device or try to bypass its security. What we recover is access to the funds from the information you already have:
- Incomplete or wrong seed: you're missing one or more words, or one is misspelled or in the wrong order.
- Forgotten passphrase: you remember the seed but not the extra word or phrase you added.
What cannot be done is guessing a seed you remember nothing about, or extracting keys from a locked device for which you have neither the seed nor the passphrase. If that's your case, we'll tell you honestly.
When it can be recovered (and when it can't)
- It can usually be recovered when only one or two seed words are missing, or when you remember part of the passphrase or how you built it.
- It is much harder if many words are missing or you remember nothing of the passphrase. We assess it before you invest time and money.
We never guarantee a 100% recovery. What we do guarantee is an honest assessment and that, if we don't recover access, you pay nothing.
How we do it
- Free assessment. You tell us about your case and what you remember. We then tell you whether it's feasible and what would be needed.
- Contract and NDA. Before anything sensitive is shared, we sign a service agreement and a non-disclosure agreement under Spanish law. We only work with the legitimate owner of the wallet.
- Recovery. Starting from what you remember, we test seed or passphrase combinations using on-demand GPU computing power and our own pattern research. We keep you updated throughout.
- Handover. Once we recover access, we help you regain control of your funds securely. The final step can even be done in person in Barcelona.
We only charge a success fee of 35% of the recovered amount, and only if we succeed. There is no upfront payment.
What we need from you
For the initial assessment we only need you to tell us:
- That it's a Trezor, and whether the problem is the seed, the passphrase, or both.
- Which seed words you have and which are missing, or what you remember of the passphrase.
- The Trezor model and how long you've had it.
Important: never send us your seed or your passphrase by email. If your case is viable, we first sign the contract and the NDA, and then explain how to share the data securely.
Every day counts. Let’s look at your wallet.

Frequently asked questions
Do you hack the Trezor device?
No. We don't bypass the device's security. We recover access from the seed or passphrase you already have but which is incomplete or not fully remembered.
How much does it cost?
The assessment is free and there is no upfront payment. We only charge a success fee of 35% of the recovered funds, and only if we recover access. If we don't, you pay nothing.
I'm missing seed words — is it possible?
In many cases yes, especially if only one or two words are missing or one is misspelled. The more are missing, the harder it gets. We assess it for free.
How long does it take?
It depends on what you remember and the complexity of the case. It can range from a few days to several weeks. We give you a realistic estimate at the assessment.
Is it safe? What happens to my funds?
We work only with the legitimate owner of the wallet, under a contract and NDA. We never ask you to transfer your funds to us, and the final step can be done in person in Barcelona for your peace of mind.
