Frequently asked questions
Can you recover my wallet?
We cannot guarantee it, and nobody honestly can. The chances depend on the wallet format and, above all, on how much you remember about the password or seed phrase. Send us your case and we will give you a free, honest assessment before you commit to anything.
How much does it cost?
Nothing upfront. If we succeed, our fee is 35 % of the value of the recovered wallet. If we do not succeed, you pay nothing — we cover the cost of running the servers.
Which wallets do you work with?
Bitcoin Core (wallet.dat), MetaMask, Electrum, Blockchain.com, MyEtherWallet and MyCrypto keystores (UTC/JSON), Ethereum presale wallets, Trust Wallet and BIP39 seed phrases from hardware wallets such as Ledger, Trezor or SafePal, among others. If yours is not listed, ask us.
What information do you need to assess my case?
The wallet type, roughly when it was created, what exactly is missing (password, some seed words, a passphrase) and every detail you remember: possible words, numbers, symbols, length, passwords you used at the time. Never send the actual password, seed words or files through the form.
Do I have to send you my wallet file?
Usually not. For most password recoveries we only need the hash extracted from the wallet file, and we guide you through extracting it. For some formats that hash also contains encrypted wallet data, which is why we always sign the contract and NDA first and offer to do the final unlock together in person.
I only have part of my seed phrase. Can you help?
Often, yes. If one or two words are missing or wrong, the search is usually feasible, especially if you know one of the wallet’s addresses. The more words that are missing — or if their position is unknown — the harder it gets. Tell us exactly what you have and we will assess it.
I forgot the passphrase (25th word) of my Ledger or Trezor. Is that recoverable?
A BIP39 passphrase works like a password on top of your seed phrase, so it can be searched for if you have the 24 words and remember something about the passphrase. We cannot bypass a hardware wallet’s PIN on the device itself.
How long does it take?
From a few days to several months, depending on the wallet format (some are designed to be slow to test) and on how much you remember. We keep you informed at every stage.
Why should I trust you?
We are a registered Spanish company with our own facilities in Barcelona, we have been featured in outlets such as The Wall Street Journal and Tom’s Hardware, we sign a contract and an NDA before any work, you can meet us in person, and we only charge if we succeed.
Do I need to prove ownership of the wallet?
Yes. We only work with the legal owners of the assets, so we ask for proof of ownership before starting.
Can you recover crypto stolen in a scam or sent to the wrong address?
No. We recover access to wallets that belong to you. Funds sent to a scammer or to a wrong address cannot be recovered by us — and be very wary of anyone who promises otherwise.
Can you recover funds from an exchange account (Binance, Coinbase…)?
No. Exchange accounts are custodial: access is restored by the exchange’s own support team. We work with self-custody wallets, where only you hold the keys.
Do you work with clients outside Spain?
Yes. We work with clients worldwide, in English and Spanish. The contract is signed under Spanish law and the final unlock can be done at our facilities or remotely, as agreed in the contract.
How is the success fee paid?
Once access is restored, the 35 % fee is settled before your remaining 65 % is released, and we issue a legal invoice under Spanish regulations.
