Recover lost bitcoin from a forgotten password or seed
Do you have bitcoin you can no longer access because of a forgotten password or an incomplete seed? We are a Spain-based company specialised in recovering that access. The assessment is free and we only charge if we succeed.

Millions of bitcoin are estimated to be "lost" because their owners can't access them: they forgot the wallet password, lost part of the seed phrase, or kept the file on an old drive. In many of those cases, access can be recovered.
At Satoshi Spain we are a Spain-based company, headquartered in Barcelona, specialised in recovering access to crypto wallets.
What "lost" means (and what we can do)
It's important to distinguish, because not everything is recoverable:
- We do work on cases where you are still the owner but have lost access: forgotten password, incomplete seed phrase, an old wallet.dat file, a drive or phone with the wallet.
- We cannot help if you were scammed, if you sent the funds to a wrong address or to someone else, or if the money is in an exchange account you don't control. In those cases the funds are no longer in a wallet of yours and technical recovery isn't possible; the right step is to contact the police or a lawyer.
Being honest about this is what sets us apart from those who promise to "recover anything": that doesn't exist.
When it can be recovered (and when it can't)
- It can usually be recovered when you remember part of the password or are only missing one or two seed words.
- It is much harder if you remember nothing of the password or many words are missing. We'll tell you clearly at the assessment.
We never guarantee a 100% recovery. What we do guarantee is an honest assessment and that, if we don't recover access, you pay nothing.
How we do it
- Free assessment. You tell us about your case and what you remember or still have. We then tell you whether it's feasible and what would be needed.
- Contract and NDA. Before anything sensitive is shared, we sign a service agreement and a non-disclosure agreement under Spanish law. We only work with the legitimate owner of the wallet.
- Recovery. Starting from what you remember or still have, we test candidates using on-demand GPU computing power and our own pattern research. We keep you updated throughout.
- Handover. Once we recover access, we help you regain control of your funds securely. The final step can even be done in person in Barcelona.
We only charge a success fee of 35% of the recovered amount, and only if we succeed. There is no upfront payment.
What we need from you
For the initial assessment we only need you to tell us:
- What type of wallet it was and what happened (forgotten password, incomplete seed, old drive…).
- Everything you remember or still have: part of the password, which seed words you have, the file or the device.
- How long you've been unable to access it.
Important: never send us your password, your seed or your wallet file by email. If your case is viable, we first sign the contract and the NDA, and then explain how to share the data securely.
Every day counts. Let’s look at your wallet.

Frequently asked questions
I was scammed with crypto — can you recover my money?
No. We recover access to wallets you own (password or seed), not funds sent to a scammer or to a wrong address. For those cases you should contact the police or a specialised lawyer.
I have an old hard drive with bitcoin — is it possible?
In many cases yes, if you still have the wallet file and remember something about the password. We assess it for free.
How much does it cost?
The assessment is free and there is no upfront payment. We only charge a success fee of 35% of the recovered funds, and only if we recover access. If we don't, you pay nothing.
How long does it take?
It depends on what you remember or still have and the complexity of the case. It can range from a few days to several weeks. We give you a realistic estimate at the assessment.
Is it safe? What happens to my funds?
We work only with the legitimate owner of the wallet, under a contract and NDA. We never ask you to transfer your funds to us, and the final step can be done in person in Barcelona for your peace of mind.
