Recover inherited cryptocurrency

When a relative passes away leaving bitcoin or other cryptocurrency, heirs often know the funds existed but don't have the wallet password or the full seed phrase. In many of these cases, access can be recovered so the inheritance isn't lost.

At Satoshi Spain we are a Spain-based company, headquartered in Barcelona, specialised in recovering access to crypto wallets. We work only with legitimate heirs and with the proper documentation.

Inheritance cases we work on

• You have the device or wallet file (a computer, a drive, a Trezor or Ledger) but not the password.
• You have part of the seed phrase written down, but it's incomplete.
• You know which wallet held the funds, but not how to access it.

As with any inheritance, you first need to prove you are the legitimate heirs. This usually means the death certificate, the will or the declaration of heirs, and your ID.

When it can be recovered (and when it can't)

• It can usually be recovered when you still have the device or file and there's some clue to the password, or when only one or two seed words are missing.
• It is much harder if there is no file, no device and no seed, or nothing is remembered. We'll tell you clearly at the assessment.

We never guarantee a 100% recovery. What we do guarantee is an honest assessment and that, if we don't recover access, you pay nothing.

How we do it

1. Free assessment. You tell us about the case and what you still have. We then tell you whether it's feasible and what would be needed.
2. Documentation and contract. You prove you are the legitimate heirs and we sign a service agreement and a non-disclosure agreement under Spanish law.
3. Recovery. Starting from what you still have, we test candidates using on-demand GPU computing power and our own research. We keep you updated throughout.
4. Handover. Once we recover access, we help you regain control of the funds securely. The final step can even be done in person in Barcelona.

We only charge a success fee of 35% of the recovered amount, and only if we succeed. There is no upfront payment.

What we need from you

For the initial assessment we only need you to tell us:

• Which wallet or device the relative left and what you still have (file, drive, hardware, notes).
• Whether you have part of the password or the seed phrase.
• The inheritance documentation (death certificate, will or declaration of heirs).

Important: never send us the password, the seed or the wallet file by email. If the case is viable, we first sign the contract and the non-disclosure agreement, and then explain how to share the data securely.
